A year after my first and only visit to this bar and it's still my favourite... in the world. Maybe it was simply a magical night of wine and cigarettes and people watching in my favourite city that caused me to fall in love? I still think about that night to this very day. It's like a one-night stand that profoundly impacts all future one-night stands, and now every time I visit another bar I wistfully think of Meine - the rockabilly on the turntable, the conversations, the relaxing atmosphere, the friendly service. I shall return one day, if I'm lucky.

Great chilled-out little bar/café in the middle of Berlin. Café Ici is an antidote to the Berlin bars that try just a little too hard (and subsequently don't quite pull it off). The atmosphere is genuine, chilled-out and friendly.
Although the food was pretty basic (i.e. this isn't somewhere for dinner but count on simple eats), the service is good as is the drinks menu.
